why we control the mind?
As the mind is capable of perceiving both happiness & unhappiness, we should try to train the mind to perceive and feel both these dualities as equal entities.
originally our mind needs everlasting happiness, which is next to impossible to get in materialistic plane. thats why so many seers and thinkers since olden ages, scripted some sutras to retrograde the mind in to another plane of consciousness ----
where the mind subdued to a state of non-reactiveness
where the mind is not identifying with ego
where the mind has no vrittas of thoughts
where the mind looses its identity
where the mind perceives that the whole universe as single entity
where the mind vanishes in to unknown para pakriti -- - - -
to get rid of un happiness, to get rid of despair, to remove grief,
to remove sorrow in society
to love all & serve all
to engulf in happiness -- - - man strives hard and passes frontier to frontier and project himself in differen planes of consciousness by doing different yogic kriyas.

what is the aim of human life?
what should be the way of the human life?
what is the truth?
what is the atma?
what is the real jnana?
can we perceive the infinite with the finite?
what is the light? its the karma of atma.
what is the desire? its the karma of the mind.
what is the sound? its the karma of the sensory organs.
what is the act? its the karma of the body.
is this world/ universe is the truth? it is the part of the truth.
to satiate the desires is the way of life?
to extract ananda from self centered acts is right?
to perceive&percept ananda in all things,in all acts,in all situations -is right?
what is the whole?
in which whole it is submerged ?
which whole is merged in to the whole ?
this world is myth. the paramatma is the real -says advaits
this world is true and the paramatma is pervading all this world is also true. -says non-advaits.
what is the way to attain the atma jnana?

Gita IN ANOTHER ANGLE.
paritrnaya sadhunam
vinaashaya cha dushkritam
dharma samsthapanardhaya
sambhavami yuge yuge.
the meaning of this sloka is--
to protect and uplift the pious people who are doing saadhana for liberation of mind from the bondages ,
and to destroy the people who are doing the adharmic and bad deeds and who are suffering from arishad vargas-
and to establish the dharma in the minds of the people, to propagate the dharma in the society and to reveal the real meaning of dharma - THE BHAGAVAN MANIFESTS HIMSELF TIME AND AGAIN IN ALL AGES.
JUST THINK IN ANOTHER ANGLE!
IN PLACE OF BHAGAVAN PUT THE ATMAN AND REPLACE THE WORD "GOOD AND BAD PEOPLE"WITH THE WORD "THOUGHT FORMS"---
Here we have to think and analyse as ,
that the atman will have a chain of " body&mind" until the atman has no need to protect the sadhu thoughts and no necessity of destroying the dushta thoughts.
that means, when there is no thought forms either good or bad in the lake of the mind, the atman never projects in mind&body continuim.
the samskaras camouflaging the atman has to evaporate by knowing that the atman is real, which is called as atma jnana.
until we achieve that atma jnanam, we-the atman has to manifest in the body& mind.
To mitigate the bad samskaras and to propagate & promulgate the good samskaras
and by conditioning the mind to thoughtlessness by constant practise
the atman projects itself in the abode of body every time and again IN ALL AGES.
it happens in me and you day in day out.
it happens always in all ages
its not once in a blue moon
its a daily ritual for atman
