THE ALMA MATER & THE OLD BOYS !
The old boys reunion in kkd, on the occasion of golden jubilee celebrations of our alma mater is both engrossing and an exercise of exploring the sequences of life that unfolded in a dramatic manner in the womb of ever passing time net.
The attitudes may change, but the basic traits never changes.
Unless the modification of mind with regular practice, the man may have same traits since birth.
The philosophy of life is live & let live!
Concern for your self & others.
The measure of success might have different definitions for different people, depends upon the angle of the observer’s view.
What adi shankara & budha told is in the Upanishads .
The Upanishads in turn are the amalgamation of thoughts of different seers of different eras.
Emulsification of that thought process resulted in “GITA” –the essence of the mind continuum since the origin of the mind and is the fulcrum for the evolution of man.
Mellowed moods, melancholic thoughts, false prestige’s –the complexities of the mind never tired to stun the man.
Exploring the atma by subduing the mind is symbolically signified by the receeding hair lines uncovering the shiny bald heads.
The bondage is in compulsion.
The bondage comes by mob psychology.
The bondage comes with comparision & compassion .
The bondage comes with craving.
The mind has become slippery
No fixed thoughts
No feelings, except analysis.
Where there is analysis –no happiness.
Where there is pride & prejudice- no happiness.
Where there is judgment –no happiness..
To be judgmental means havoc with your mind & body.
Be passive in observation
Be active in helping your self & others.
The spice of the life is perceiving the bliss on the path of ananda, which will only come with inner & outer balance of mind.
Be bold man. Be in union with your self.
As the self is one continuum of flow you are what you really are!
All beings are reflected in you & you reflects in others.
No difference between you and others.
To prove that, you have to meditate on your “self”
You should have that firm craving & commitment to do that
Unless you have that need to discover the self – you certainly differ with that process.
Books, seers only guides you.
Variations of amplitude& frequencies in “the self” leads to creation of the universe.
